Why use Écolo-Nature instead of another product on the market? 

Écolo-Nature improves the fertility of the soil. With Écolo-Nature, you will see a decrease in soil density, an increase in the porosity and concentration of organic matter and fewer nutritive elements will be washed away. Its use will improve the retention of water and of minerals provided by the fertilizer.

In many areas of the country, 50% of organic matter is lost to erosion. Because Écolo-Nature is composed of at least 70% organic matter, it aids in restocking the ground with the organic matter it needs. Écolo-Nature reduces the need for lime. It adds beneficial micro-organisms to the ground while it activates the food source of those which are already there. It is also important to note the total absence of harmful bacteria such as salmonella because the high composting temperature (60-70 degrees Celcius) completely eliminates them.

Écolo-Nature slowly releases nitrogen as needed to the plants and reduces nitrate loss.





CHARACTERISTICS 

PRODUCT:
Made of 100% of composted poultry, with no additives. 
 

FERTILIZING FORMULA:
5-6-3 including 9% calcium, aiding the control of PH (acidity of the ground).
 

ORGANIC COMPOSITION:
50% to 70% organic matter, which improves ground porosity, decreases the loss of nutritive elements and improves water retention during periods of dryness.
 

MOISTURE CONTENT:
20%, reducing the cost of water transport for the fertilizers and facilitating spreading with conventional equipment.
 

ABSORPTION BY PLANTS:
Écolo-Nature releases nitrogen according to the plants' needs and reduces nitrate loss. 
 

FERTILIZING CAPACITY:
In 1995, Professor John R. Street of the University of Ohio showed that composted poultry manure fertilizer is the highest classed natural organic fertilizer among 14 fertilizers tested.
 

USE:
Lawn, flowers and gardens (fruit and vegetables). According to German experts, this product is prized by apple growers and vineyard owners in Europe.
